In June 2009, P&M was awarded the initial one-year contract, then also the subsequent re-bid for another 3 years, providing the following services:
Description
P&M was the Prime Consultant to perform project controls and cost engineering on a work order basis for various capital design and construction projects for the King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks (DNRP) – Wastewater Treatment Division. The nature of the work includes but is not limited to: project management services; project planning and development and scheduling services; earned value management and earned value tool development; development of cost estimates and cost estimating guidelines; onsite project controls services, request for information and submittal processing; and, change order cost control.
Responsibilities
- WBS and CPM resource-loaded schedule development and review using Microsoft Project and Primavera P6
- Cost Estimating including lifecycle cost, alternative analysis, review and development of engineer’s estimates, development of third party estimates
- Project Controls Services (construction schedule review, document controls, review pay request)
- Cost Controls (earned value management, monthly reports, change order estimating, cash flow reports, budget revisions, etc.)
- Risk Management Procedures Development and Risk Assessment
- Development of Asset Management Estimating Methodology and Earned Value Management Tool
