Puget Sound Energy is a Washington state energy utility providing electrical power and natural gas primarily in the Puget Sound region of the northwest United States. The utility serves electricity to more than 1.1 million customers in Island, King, Kitsap, Kittitas, Pierce, Skagit, Thurston, and Whatcom counties; and provides natural gas to 750,000 customers in King, Kittitas, Lewis, Pierce, Snohomish and Thurston counties. The company has a 6,000-square-mile electric and natural gas service area. 

Responsibilities

P&M provides program controls support with master scheduling & cost estimating support to Puget Sound Energy (PSE) project managers with responsibilities as follows:

  • Estimating service for electric and gas transmission and distribution major projects
  • Master scheduling services using P6/MS Project (develop and update program schedules & monthly progress updates)
  • Monthly project cost updates on actual spending vs. budget
  • Reporting – Cost Reports, Schedule/milestone variance reports & Schedule portfolio reporting
  • Site Visits – to validate schedule and costs
  • Other Support Services – Bid process, bid review and attend meetings (anything schedule and cost related)
