In March 2012, P&M entered into a Sub-consultant Agreement with the HNTB-Jacobs-Hatch Mott MacDonald (H-J-H) Final Design Partners for the East Link South Bellevue to Overlake Transit Center Final Design. The project would bring the proposed transit corridor from 30 to 100 percent design determining the technical specifications for the stations, bridges, tracks and other elements as well as construction methods and sequencing.

The project is a 14-mile light rail line connecting Seattle to the Eastside’s biggest employment and population centers. It is scheduled to open for passenger service in 2023.

Responsibilities

P&M provided construction schedule development thru various stages of design development and program scheduling for the East Link program including work associated with Segment  A (Seattle to South Bellevue), Segments B, C, and D (South Bellevue to Overlake Transit Center) and the Systems Improvement contract. P&M was responsible for creating and maintaining the overall East Link Alignment Program Schedule including the Final Design deliverables and reviews, Right-of-Way, Permits, and Procurement along with detailed construction activities. P&M also supported various Sound Transit senior managers by building Detailed What-If construction schedules to assist in overall planning and discussions involving Project Delivery Methods and Critical Path identification.
