Sound Transit – Construction Management Services for Northgate Extension

Description

Northgate Link Extension adds three new stations to the growing light rail network, providing access to the system for riders living and working north of Seattle. Stations in the Northgate, Roosevelt and U District neighborhoods will be served with frequent bus connections, a park and ride and pedestrian and bike paths.

Responsibilities

P&M was hired by Jacobs|CH2M Hill to provide independent cost estimating (ICE) support.

• Prepare Independent cost estimates of proposed changes for comparison with contractor’s cost proposals and establish a negotiation position, using format(s) supplied by Sound Transit and following ST documented process and procedures
• Support REs in change order price negotiation
• Prepare documentation for submission to Sound Transit’s Change Control Board
