Responsibilities

In September 2007, P&M was selected to provide project controls to the Seaport Project Management Group (SPMG). The projects were tracked in the Po

rt’s Seaport Project Office Tracking System (SPOTS) that was developed by P&M for budget controls, capital cost forecasting, cash flow projections and cost accounting.  SPOTS system was linked to Microsoft Project for progress status updating of the program master schedule. Primavera was used to review contract progress schedules and time impact analysis.

The Port was then looking for a firm to provide consultant support with extensive experience in project controls, accounting principles and proficiency with project control software (Primavera, Access, Excel, Peoplesoft financials). P&M provided cost & schedule controls and progress status reports using the established systems. P&M also reviewed the Contractor’s monthly schedule updates.
