Nominal 820 MW capacity combined cycle power plant. The facility is located on a 36-acre tract of land in Desoto county, Mississippi.

Technology

• Three general electric 7FA combustion gas turbine generator sets 
• Three aalborg three-pressure, three-drum, heat recovery generators with reheat and duct firing 
• Three GE condensing steam turbine generators

Engineering, procurement, construction and startup

Twenty-four months from notice to proceed to commercial operation scheduled completion 2003
