Description
P&M teamed with CH2MHill Engineers, Inc., as a sub-consultant to provide project controls, scheduling & estimating services for the CSO Program Management project. One of the projects under this program is the Long Term Control Plan that includes several new CSO projects that are in various phases of development. The long range plan will create a comprehensive strategy to reduce the Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO) into lakes and streams of Puget Sound. The plan will:

  • Identify areas of Seattle where CSO reduction projects are required
  • Evaluate solutions for reducing CSOs in affected areas
  • Select a preferred alternative for each affected area
  • Recommend a schedule for designing and constructing projects from 2016–2025

The contract was recently amended to add cost engineering to P&M's scope of services.
